Specialist Paediatric Dentist, Carmarthen

  We are delighted to announce that Dr Rohini Mohan has joined the Hayden Dental team. 

Rohini is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist, and the Clinical Lead for Paediatric Dentistry in Swansea Bay UHB and Powys Teaching HB. Rohini joins the team at Hayden Dental to establish a new children’s dental referral service in West Wales, and will initially be running monthly clinics commencing in March 2024. 

It’s very exciting to be joining together to establish a new specialist service for South West Wales. We welcome Rohini’s expertise and total passion for children’s dentistry, and are preparing for her arrival with new specialist equipment and training, meaning we will also be able to offer services such as sedation and 'The Wand' pain-free injection system.

Dentists may refer patients for a second opinion and treatment planning, or to have treatment completed at Hayden Dental. All cases referred will be acknowledged by our team and, following assessment, a full written report will be sent to the patient and the referring dentist. 

Following completion of treatment, your patient will be referred back to you to manage their ongoing care with a summary of completed treatment, and any recommendations for ongoing management.

Rohini's clinic will be supported by experienced Dental Nurse and Treatment Coordinator, Kylie Murphy, who will be the point of contact for all patients and referring clinicians. Clinics will also be supported by our Oral Health Educator, Celia Lewis, and our Dental Therapist, Sue Davies.
